Advanced Rail Systems, LLC (ARS) formed by President/CEO Coy Beaman in August 2015. The client came to the SBDC in 2019 to discuss SBA financing for a new facility. The company exported to railroad companies in Canada, Brazil, Mexico, South America, and the Netherlands. Sadly, co-owner Coy Beaman died tragically in a car accident during an unprecedented Texas snow storm in February 2021. This took place while they were starting construction on a 30,000 sf building to house their expanding operations. The expansion was financed with a SBA 7A Loan in the amount of $4.9M. ARS manufactures railway switches and their product is the most advanced on the market today. The company has strong leadership and a commitment to community service.
