Shane Howard loves Bicycles, he started with BMX as a teen and dreamed of owning his own bike shop and OTB Cyclery is born of that dream. What started as a hobby became his passion. Shane Howard, an aircraft mechanic and US Air Force Veteran felt it was important to select the right location. Shane is located in an Opportunity Zone and HUB zone to start a positive change in an area that did not have economic opportunity. After months of hard work, the shop opened in January 2021. A success story for the City of Waco, SBA for their loan program, SBDC for helping clients start up businesses and the East Waco neighborhood for the establishment of the viable area. OTB is a shining example of an entrepreneurial ecosystem that is in full swing.
